Grand Theft Auto 5 remastered lets you play as a chicken in a peyote-fueled hallucination

Don't tell your mom you can do drugs in Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

Grand Theft Auto 5 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One includes plenty of content that wasn't available in last year's original release. It doesn't offer any new playable characters — well, not unless you count a chicken.
Developer Rockstar North added a special new type of hidden package to Grand Theft Auto 5 for the remaster. As you can see in the video above from YouTube user taltigolt, 27 peyote plants are strewn about the vast expanse of San Andreas. And each time you collect one, you get a special treat: a hallucination in which you are transmogrified into an animal.
In this case, Franklin Clinton becomes a chicken; it's unclear at this point if the other pieces turn you into different animals. Grand Theft Auto 5 boasts a wide variety of wildlife, such as cougars, deer and sharks. The hallucination lasts for a limited time, and Franklin comes out of it flapping his arms like, well, a chicken. You can also end the episode yourself with a button press.
