Avengers: Age of Ultron End Credits Scene Could Feature Spider Man; Marvel and Sony Negotiating Crossover?

Marvel

As per the latest rumours, Marvel Studios is in negotiations with Sony to add Spider-Man
to their massively
popular Avengers franchise.
While rumours suggesting that Spidey will feature in Avengers 3 have been circulating for
some time now, HitFix reports that it might just really happen."While I can't get the
confirmations I need to verify the story, I'm hearing that there are
some very cool 'Spider-Man' plans being discussed that would help Sony refocus their
enormously important franchise while also opening up some connections in the on screen
Marvel movie universe that would blow fandom's minds."HitFix continues, "I would love to
be able to state for sure that it's happening. What seems clear from what I've heard is
that Marvel wants to be able to play with all of their characters, and if they can make that
work creatively and on a corporate level, they will, and that means the world gets bigger
again." Right now Marvel is at the top of their game with their recent film, Guardians of
the Galaxy turning out to be a major blockbuster. "But even they are anticipating some
superhero fatigue over the next few years, so we imagine they're looking for ways to
spruce up their film slate over the next 5-6 years," states Hypable. So there it is.
Don't be surprised if the Avengers: Age of Ultron end credits scene features
Spider-Man/ Peter Parker gearing up for action.
Joining the Avengers will definitely work wonders for both brands and will also save
Spidey from further box office beatings. The Amazing Spider Man 2 did not do as well
as expected and has put a question mark over the franchise's future. An Avengers
team-up couldn't come at a better time when the web-slinger still enjoys a huge fan
base. If the rumoured negotiations work out, it will also clear the path for a future
Marvel Civil Wars movie – an exciting storyline featuring all of the Marvel superheroes
